In September 2010 My Brother and I are to set off on a MONSTER bike ride from Lands End to John O’Groats to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, and help with the TCT fundraising appeal to develop services for teenagers and young adults in the East Midlands.

Their aim is to provide:-
• A 5 bedded unit at the Leicester Royal Infirmary
• A 5 bedded unit at Queens Medical Centre hospital
• A 3 bedded unit at Nottingham City hospital

Since the release of West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum Kasabian has established itself as one of Britain’s biggest bands. Not content with simply winning over the poms, the boys are headed back to Australia this July to show us what they are made of.

Last down under for the Big Day Out, the four lads from Leicestershire received rave reviews for their electric live performances led by enigmatic frontman Tom Meighan. As our FL reviewer put it Meighan is “…bolshy, too fond of telling people to throw their hands in the air and only periodically takes his sunglasses off. And yes, he’s everything a frontman should be.”

Kasabian would like to apologise to fans who bought tickets to see their February 23rd show at Le Bikini, Toulouse. The band were struck down with a food poisoning bug and unable to perform on the night. A date for the rescheduled show will be confirmed very shortly and the band can't wait to make up for the disappointment and inconvenience caused.
