V Festival headline slot

The band have been announced as headlining this year's V Festival alongside Kings of Leon. The festival will be held on 21st and 22nd August at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.

A message from the band

Kasabian would like to apologise to fans who bought tickets to see their February 23rd show at Le Bikini, Toulouse. The band were struck down with a food poisoning bug and unable to perform on the night. A date for the rescheduled show will be confirmed very shortly and the band can't wait to make up for the disappointment and inconvenience caused.

T in the Park Tickets on Sale today

Tickets for T in the Park have gone on general sale today, with Kasabian headlining the bill.

The festival also features a number of global superstar acts such as the Gossip, John Mayer and Calvin Harris.

At the NME Awards in London last night, Kasabian put in a great performance of Vlad The Impaler with Noel Fielding and then won the awards for Best Album and
Best Album Artwork.

You can watch all the performances and acceptance speeches on Channel 4 this Friday @ 11.25pm, and then at 10.55am on T4 this Saturday.
