Kasabian hooked up with England and Aston Villa striker Darren Bent recently for a unique experiment.

Collaborating with Sony Ericsson and Umbro they created a real-life version of a FIFA or PES video game. Tom and Darren squared off using modified Xperia Play smartphones to control real-life footballers via voice commands.

The piece was filmed in an underground chamber in a Thames Water pumping station in West London, and two talented young five-a-side teams were drafted in to play. Umbro tailored one-off Kasabian kits specially for the game.
