Only time will tell, I just wish they'd give us a nod either way on the chances of it happening.

I think the worst part about this is THIS WEBSITE! It is just awful. There are almost no updates posted to the US portion of the site. It's ridiculous. I mean, they just won Best British Group at the Brits... Um, where is that info on here? Why only show that to British fans? They confirmed a festival in Poland... I don't see that either.
I remember on Kasabian's last tour, I found out about the dates on the Killers' fan forum before they were even announced on the Kasabian website. They really need to get up to speed with this stuff. FB? Blogging? Twitter? Helllloooooo boys. We need to hear from you. I know Tom hates technology, but still. When they do book US dates, I'll probably find out from randomly searching Ticketmaster before I hear about it on this site.
But back to the topic... I'm actually quite nervous they won't make it here for this album. Will they promote it after the summer and all those festivals? What is the point of touring the States a full year after the album's release? Hmmmmm...

That's sort of how I feel about it too. I'm just wondering if they even care anymore, with all their UK success. Honestly, if they had done the work and had proper promotion here since day 1, they would probably being doing better. It's not like there first album is overtly British sounding, it could have done better here.
They don't have be like Arctic Monkeys (who have toured the US like crazy for Humbug), but jeeze, a few dates would be nice. I'd go to NYC, Chicago, wherever to see them too.

It's not looking good. They've got all of the festivals, and they've said they want to start working on their next album at the end of the year, which doesn't leave any time really...

Oh well, I figured they would stop touring here eventually, I just didn't expect it so soon. I suppose I'll still import their albums, but when you never see one of your favorite bands live it can be very upsetting.

I get the feeling you are correct. However, it is never too early to get the movement started/let the band know at least 18 of us still care

It's starting to warm up here. Granted I am down the coast in LA LA land (born and raised in the Bay Area). By April, it should be nice, till about May, when SF will be cloudy and miserable till oh September

Ah, but I am actually from Marin, where it doesn't get foggy that often, so I will still be warm Not a huge fan of LA, I must admit.
